Atlantic Canada's Bass Fishing Experience

Mr. Jeff Wilson and The City of Miramichi invite all fishing enthusiasts to Atlantic Canada's Premier Bass Fishing Experience! The Miramichi Striper Cup is a "catch and release" bass fishing tournament that attracts over 2,000 participants to the banks of the Miramichi River each year. In 2018, the Miramichi Striper Cup awarded over $95,000.00 in cash and prizes including two Princecraft boats and Mercury outboard motors valued at $30,000.00.

The Miramichi Striper Cup has something for all skill levels with our three divisions of competition:

Team Division (May 24th - 26th, 2019) - Up to four team members compete for the top prize of $6,000.00 and the opportunity to complete for the "Lunker" prizes that are estimated to be over $3,000.00 per day. Teams compete over two (2) days and are permitted to weigh two (2) fish per day for a total of four (4) fish over the two days.
